This is an English reading version. The legally binding text is the German one; where the two differ, the German version applies.
Technically necessary cookies and browser storage (login, security, your settings) are always set; under § 25 Abs. 2 TTDSG, the German telecommunications and telemedia data protection act, they need no consent. For reach measurement with Google Analytics and for Google signals we ask you beforehand through the consent banner. If you decline, no Google script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set - the refusal takes effect technically, not just legally. You can change your decision at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer or in your profile.

Essential cookies cannot be switched off - without them login and security do not work. About analytics and marketing you decide yourself: the banner shows both categories separately, both are off by default, and “Reject all” stands next to “Accept all” with equal weight. You can change or revoke your decision at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer and - if you are signed in - in your profile settings. On revocation we switch measurement off immediately and delete the Google Analytics cookies that were set. On top of that you can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time; you will then have to sign in again.
