Cover page templates: 21 designs with photo
The cover page is the first page of your application. In every design it matches your resume and cover letter, because it comes from the same template.
Name, role, contact details and, if you want to show one, your photo. You pull the details from your profile and the role from the posting. Not every design shows every field; ATS-Pur, for example, leaves out the photo.
Every design, the editor and the PDF export are free.

1 designsWhen a cover page makes sense
It is never required. Three cases where it still helps.
When you apply with a photo
Then the photo goes on the cover page and the resume stays free for content. The photo appears in one place, never in both.
When the file gets thick
With several attachments, the cover page sorts things: who, for which role, what comes next.
When the role asks for design
In design jobs the cover page is a work sample. Here the design can show more.
A cover page does not argue, it sorts.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a cover page?
No, it is optional. When a German posting asks for complete documents, it means cover letter, resume and references.
Does the photo go on the cover page or the resume?
One or the other, never both. With a cover page, the photo is better placed there.
Does the cover page cost anything?
No. Designs, editor and PDF export are free. Only the AI suggestion for the positioning line costs points.

Ideally the same one as for your resume and cover letter.
